How we work

Businesses and personal clients face a variety of differing risks and objectives when it comes to insurance cover.

Here's how we go about assessing those risks and needs so as to ensure that businesses and individuals are properly advised, and adequately and appropriately covered:

1. Discovery: About you, about your business

Our starting point is to obtain sufficient information from you so that we understand your business and that enables us to make an accurate assessment of any risk or exposure that may exists, and what coverage we need to arrange for you to give you the peace of mind that you are adequately covered and protected. We will gladly visit you at your place of business when we feel that it might us gain a better understanding of your needs.

2. Analysis & Research

Once we have obtained all necessary information from you, we will approach the wide range of insurers we work with and negotiate with them on your behalf not only to secure the most competitive premiums, but to also ensure that the actual cover provided by a particular policy matches your needs. 

3. Proposals

Before issuing any proposals to you we will review in detail the various quotations and terms we receive back from the market, comparing them carefully against one another. Once this exercise is complete we will discuss our findings and present the terms we recommend to you and provide confirmation of the premium payable. We will also give you an overview of the cover provided, along with an explanation as to why we feel a particular policy, and its terms and conditions are the most suitable and competitive.

4. Implementation

Should you then decide to proceed, we will instruct the relevant insurers on your behalf. We will always review the Policy Documentation to ensure the information contained therein is accurate before ensuring that we are happy that the coverage provided meets your requirements. The documents will then be issued to you, along with any other important information.

5. Review & Renewal

From the moment you become one of our customers, we're fully committed to providing you with the type of ongoing service that is in our opinion the key customer benefit of the role of an Insurance Broker.

  • If you have claims we will be there to support and assist you through the claims process, so as to ensure that the claim is dealt with in a timely manner and reaches a satisfactory conclusion.
  • The needs of businesses change day-to-day so we will arrange any alterations you instruct us to make to your policy coverage as and when required, whether this be the need to insure a new vehicle, property, or plant and equipment. We are here to assist you.
  • When the policy falls due for renewal, as we did at the start of your journey, we will review again from the beginning, assessing and reassessing your needs for the forthcoming year. Then, if warranted, we will approach alternate insurers to ensure that your current provider remains both the most competitive and best fit for you.

Simply put, our service does not stop once you become our customer, it starts.
